Impala (Aepyceros melampus)

These graceful antelopes are one of the most ubiquitous animals in the Kruger National Park. If suddenly disturbed the herds break up in all directions leaping over bushes and imaginary objects and when leaping they appear to float through the air, their bodies in a graceful arc.
The male’s head forms the focal point of this composition, which has been cross-braced by the legs touching for added strength
