Kudu Bull (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) Sold Out

This is one of our most majestic antelope in Southern Africa. The subtle balance of the weight distribution is very important to me as was to capture the amazing silhouette of the animal.

The corkscrew-shaped, spiral horns are a conspicuous feature of this handsome species as are the white facial markings and series of six to ten unevenly spaced white transverse stripes on the back and flanks and the white facial markings.  I used silver inlay for these striking, diagnostic markings. The lower jaw is also cast in silver.

As a surprise I have include a secret drawer in the base
